Particularly in manufacturing plants, where machinery and equipment operate continuously, noise can reach levels that significantly impact workers&#8217; health and productivity. Therefore, noise control becomes a crucial aspect of plant management, and noise standards have been established to protect employees&#8217; health and maintain a safe and efficient working environment.  <\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<h3><b>The importance of noise control<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Noise is not only irritating but also a hazardous factor if not controlled. Prolonged exposure to high noise levels can lead to temporary or permanent hearing loss, increase the risk of hearing-related diseases, and even affect the nervous and cardiovascular systems. Noise standards in manufacturing plants in Vietnam<br \/><\/b><\/h3>\n<h4><b>1.1.<br \/>\nQuy chu\u1ea9n k\u1ef9 thu\u1eadt qu\u1ed1c gia v\u1ec1 ti\u1ebfng \u1ed3n &#8211; QCVN 26:2010\/BTNMT <\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In Vietnam, noise standards in the workplace are clearly specified in the National Technical Regulation on Noise QCVN 26:2010\/BTNMT. This regulation, issued by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, sets out permissible noise limits for production areas. <\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Limits:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> According to the regulations, the permissible noise levels in industrial areas can range from 70 to 85 dB(A), depending on the area and the time of day (day or night). These noise levels are considered safe for workers&#8217; health under normal working conditions. <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><b>1.2.<br \/>\nQuy chu\u1ea9n k\u1ef9 thu\u1eadt qu\u1ed1c gia v\u1ec1 an to\u00e0n lao \u0111\u1ed9ng \u0111\u1ed1i v\u1edbi ti\u1ebfng \u1ed3n &#8211; QCVN 24:2016\/BYT <\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In addition, the Ministry of Health has issued QCVN 24:2016\/BYT, which sets the maximum permissible noise levels at workplaces to protect workers&#8217; health.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Limits:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The average noise level should not exceed 85 dB(A) during an 8-hour shift. International standards for noise in manufacturing plants<\/b><\/h3>\n<h4><b>2.1.<br \/>\nTi\u00eau chu\u1ea9n c\u1ee7a OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) <\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">OSHA, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration of the United States, establishes regulations for workplace noise to ensure the safety of workers.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Limits:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> According to OSHA, the average noise level over an 8-hour work shift should not exceed 85 dB(A). Noisy machinery should be placed in separate areas, away from main work areas, or in soundproof rooms to minimize the impact of noise. <\/span><\/p>\n<h4><b>3.2.<br \/>\nS\u1eed d\u1ee5ng v\u1eadt li\u1ec7u c\u00e1ch \u00e2m <\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Soundproofing materials are among the most effective solutions for reducing noise.
